Can you rent Blake2b (XBT) hashrate on NiceHash or Braiins?

By the TideHash team · · 3 min read

If you rent hashrate for other coins, NiceHash and Braiins Hashpower are the names you know. For Blake2b (XBT / BTCB2), the picture is different. Here is where you can rent it today, and how the options work.

NiceHash and Braiins: no Blake2b market today

As of 24 October 2026, NiceHash's public pricing page lists no Blake2b (Sia) algorithm among its active markets, although the algorithm name still exists in its API from earlier years. Braiins Hashpower is a SHA-256 market for Bitcoin hashrate, so it does not sell Blake2b hashrate. Check both again before you decide, as markets change.

Which one fits

  • An hourly marketplace fits if you want one specific rig, very short rentals, or you already hold a balance there.
  • TideHash fits if you want TH/s for your own pool or DATUM gateway without an account, to set your own price, and to pay only for shares your pool accepted.

Whichever you use, the pool side is the same: see XBT pool settings for rented hashrate and XBT mining pools compared. The calculator shows what a rental costs at today's TideHash price.
