What is new on TideHash
Every customer-facing update to TideHash, newest first. Each entry links to a guide when there is something new to use.
NewLive availability now includes partner capacity
- “Available now” in the order book. Under the top-bid strip you now see how much hashrate is available right now at bids from $2.65/TH/day: our own fleet plus partner capacity, refreshed every few minutes. It hides itself if the figure is out of date.
- Clearer “fully booked” notice. When our own fleet is fully booked, the order book and the bid form say so and show when it frees up. Below $2.65/TH/day your bid waits for our fleet as before. From $2.65/TH/day, partner capacity can also be used: it is added by our team after payment, so a new bid can start partly filled or wait in the queue until it is connected. Your order page always shows the real speed you are getting.
- Nothing changes for running orders. Everything you pay for is delivered; a partly filled order simply runs longer.
How to use it: 1. Open the order book and read the “Available now” line. 2. Place your bid as usual; a higher bid gets capacity first, and bids from $2.65/TH/day can also get partner capacity. 3. After paying, watch the live speed on your private order link.
NewExact XBT invoices, outbid emails, waitlist and live XBT price
- Exact XBT invoices. When you use “Pay an exact XBT amount”, the XBT invoice now equals the amount you typed, e.g. 1.00000000 XBT. How it works.
- Outbid emails. If a newer, higher bid takes the capacity ahead of your paid order, you get one email with the price to get ahead again. Your order keeps every TH-hour you paid for and simply runs longer. On by default; switch it off with the link in any order email or on your account page.
- Waitlist. When capacity is sold out, leave your email on the order form and get one email when capacity frees up. Your address is removed after that email.
- Live XBT price in the top bar. The top bar now shows 1 XBT in US dollars (and in BTC on wide screens) next to the BTC price, with one update time. It uses the same rate as checkout.
- Base price. The base price now matches Mining Rig Rentals’ suggested Blake2b price. No rental fees, and you pay directly per order. See today’s price.
UpdatePay an exact XBT amount, bid competition and new pages
- Pay an exact XBT amount. A small link under Speed and Duration opens an XBT amount box with quick picks (0.5, 1, 2, 5 XBT). It keeps your speed and price and works out the duration. Guide.
- Top-bid strip. Above the order book: the top bid, running and queued orders, and free speed or a sold-out notice.
- Sold-out countdown. When capacity is sold out, a countdown shows when the next running order is expected to end at its current speed.
- “Bid X to be next” hint. Under the price field: the price to be next in line and the price to be the top bid, with a button to use it.
- New pages. XBT mining calculator, Blake2b hashrate price today, DATUM guide and public API docs.
